Published provider prices

Section 1 of 5 · 2 min read

Direct provider prices checked 20 October 2026. Selected examples, not a whole-market lowest-price claim. These checks are separate from the hourly medicine feeds.

Consultation, diagnostic testing, medication, membership and monitoring are separate cost categories. A low headline drug price is not the whole cost of TRT.

Map the costs before signing up

Section 2 of 5 · 1 min read

A useful TRT quote has five lines: initial tests, the consultation, treatment, monitoring and reviews. A clinic may charge these separately or combine some into a monthly plan. Ask which fees are paid before a treatment decision and what happens if treatment is not offered. A low-cost introductory call is not necessarily a medical consultation.

Check what the test price includes

Section 3 of 5 · 1 min read

A laboratory test and a blood-collection appointment can have separate charges. Check whether the advertised price assumes you arrange collection yourself, attend a partner clinic or use a home nurse. Ask whether a previous result can be accepted before paying for another test. The clinician determines which investigations are needed.

Compare membership with an inclusive plan

Section 4 of 5 · 1 min read

A membership may pay for administration and access to a team while leaving medication, tests and reviews outside the fee. An inclusive plan may cover more, but still exclude additional investigations or other medicines. Compare the same period of care and write down each excluded charge. Do not assume two monthly figures buy the same service.

Understand continuing care

Section 5 of 5 · 1 min read

Ask who reviews results, how follow-ups are booked and how the provider communicates with your usual GP. Establish the cost of a changed prescription, a missed appointment and ending a plan. Treatment and monitoring decisions belong to the treating clinician; the prices here do not establish whether TRT is appropriate for you.
