Foundayo contains orforglipron, a daily prescription GLP-1 tablet. The MHRA authorised it on 10 August 2026 for adult weight management and type 2 diabetes under specified criteria. It is a different medicine from semaglutide and tirzepatide.

Authorisation sets the permitted use of a medicine; it does not confirm every pharmacy can supply it. The MHRA announcement said Foundayo was not available on the NHS at that time. Check current local access rather than assuming private availability means NHS funding.

Before relying on a price, establish whether it is a published dispensing offer, an indicative figure or a waitlist. Ask what happens to any payment if stock is delayed or the clinical assessment concludes that treatment is unsuitable.
