Start with the medicine and the customer type

Section 1 of 5 · 1 min read

Med Easy connects four specialist sources: Monj for Mounjaro, iGovy for Wegovy injections, Ogovy for Wegovy tablets and Dayo for Foundayo. Each medicine has its own dose list. Prices are kept separate for first orders, returning customers, subscriptions, maintenance offers and standard pricing.

For each dose and customer type, “lowest” means the named source’s rank-one published listing. It is not a comparison of clinical suitability and does not prove that every possible UK provider has been surveyed. A lower price in a different customer column may not be an offer you qualify for.

Read the source check and retrieval time separately

Section 2 of 5 · 1 min read

The source-reported check date comes from the original feed. Retrieval tells you when Med Easy read it. A page can be retrieved today while its source still reports an older check. Similarly, generating a new data file does not establish that someone has checked every pharmacy’s checkout again.

In Med Easy’s tables, an older source check stays visible beside the published figures. The label asks you to confirm the current offer rather than silently turning the old date into today’s date. Individual pharmacy records may have different update histories, so a site-level timestamp should not be read as proof that every row changed simultaneously.

Understand what happens if a connection fails

Section 3 of 5 · 1 min read

The site first requests the source’s JSON summary. If that is unavailable, it can read the same source’s published AI reference tables. This keeps the medicine, dose, customer category and rank together instead of reconstructing a price from a search snippet.

If both formats fail, a dated saved observation can remain visible for a limited period. It is marked as a saved source result and retains its original retrieval date. The next failed request does not refresh that date. If no usable observation remains, the site links to the source without inventing a number.

An empty field is useful information

Section 4 of 5 · 1 min read

A missing price means the summary did not supply a usable amount for that combination. It does not mean zero cost, no stock or no treatment route. Those conclusions need information from the provider. A missing discount code also does not mean no code is needed; an offer may use a separate activation link or conditions not included in the summary.

Fee inclusion is another separate field. Treat delivery and consultation costs as unknown unless the source explicitly confirms them. Use the original source offer page and the pharmacy’s final quote to settle the amount payable. Our discount guide explains how to avoid subtracting an offer twice.

Keep the context when sharing a price

Section 5 of 5 · 1 min read

A useful note includes the medicine, formulation, dose, customer type, pharmacy, amount, source page and source-check date. If you remove the dose or introductory-order condition, an accurate observation can become a misleading headline. Keep any older-check or saved-result label attached too.

The JSON feed, plain-text feed and CSV download provide the same price observations used in the human-readable tables. Use them to inspect the information, not to treat a comparison listing as a prescription or guaranteed checkout quote.

Med Easy’s editorial policy explains the source limits and how prices are labelled. A clear comparison should make its uncertainties easy to find alongside its numbers.

Your questions, answered

Does hourly tracking mean every pharmacy checkout is verified hourly?

No. The scheduled check retrieves the four sources’ published summaries. Their own recorded check dates remain visible and can be older than retrieval time. The schedule does not establish that every provider checkout, coupon condition or stock position has just been rechecked.

Why can a source-listed price remain visible with an old check date?

The source may still publish the amount while reporting an older verification date. Med Easy identifies that status and asks readers to confirm the current offer. It does not replace the old check date with today’s retrieval time or describe it as newly verified.

What does an unavailable value in the AI feed mean?

It means that a usable amount was not available for that medicine, dose and customer category in the accepted source data. It does not mean zero cost or no stock. Follow the source link and ask the provider about the particular order.
